PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Mobi Barcode Reader is based on 2-D (two-dimensional) symbology originally developed by Denso Wave of the Netherlands and distributed in open source code. The technology uses codes which contain information in both vertical and horizontal directions. These codes can be read by most camera-equipped mobile phones or web cams.

Mobile Assets version of the original open source code has improved efficiencies and now provides the best use of the international language developed by Denso Wave.

To interpret the barcode, the cell phone or computer runs a small piece of software which can be quickly downloaded at no cost. Sponsors can easily create bar codes by accessing a password-protected Web site.

When the camera reads the Mobi barcode, it accesses our proprietary media jukebox which delivers the additional information that relates to the bar code. That information can be video, music or text.

Furthermore, the jukebox includes capabilities for profile management, suggestive selling, full e-commerce and numerous “smart” features that allow the user to manage and manipulate their information.

Depending on the usage, the sponsor of the information may choose to charge for access or carry the cost as a marketing and advertising expense.

We provide the sponsor access to the jukebox for multimedia content which they create. We charge for storage, updates, delivery, size of file, personal profile management, customer management, transactional front and back end with full accounting and device display and network independence.

The size of the target market for the Mobi Barcode Reader is enormous.

Manufacturers can use it on product packages to instantly deliver additional information to consumers. Think of nutritional information on food, a short video on designer clothing, instant song clips in a music store, etc.
